[ [link removed] ]A person holding a sign opposing the use of glyphosate
John,
Bee-killing, cancer-linked glyphosate is on the verge of getting
reapproved in Europe. We could see another decade of Bayer-Monsanto’s
poison sprayed on our fields and our food. But we have a plan to stop it –
we just need your help.
Germany has already decided to ban glyphosate domestically, and as a huge,
influential country could help secure an EU-wide ban too. But Bayer is a
German company – and the government has struck a behind-the-scenes deal to
protect its global profits.
The good news is we have a real lever to push: the minister who will cast
Germany’s vote was elected from the Green Party! If we can show him he’s
toast if he capitulates to giant pesticide companies, we have a real
chance of spurring him into action.
If everyone reading this chips in the cost of a coffee, we’ll launch an
all-out campaign surge – plastering his hometown with posters calling out
Germany’s double standards, placing ads in major newspapers, and running
polls to show massive public support for an EU ban.
We can still win this and rid Europe of glyphosate forever. Germany’s vote
is set to tip the balance. But we have to move fast – there’s a crucial
meeting in just a few weeks. Can you chip in now?

Bayer-Monsanto has been allowed to peddle its poison for so long that it’s
literally everywhere – our parks, our fields, our food, even our urine. We
need to be urgently cleaning up this toxic legacy, not adding to it.
Germany is key to this, but its agriculture ministry is hesitating – happy
to settle for protecting German citizens with a national ban while the
rest of Europe continues to suffer.
That’s why it’s so important we step up now and make sure Germany votes
against glyphosate reapproval. People in Germany are wildly supportive of
an EU-wide ban – and if we can ramp up the pressure to make this a hot
issue at home, we could prompt the government into action. This could end
glyphosate’s EU reign forever. Are you in?
