North Carolina's Republican-dominated legislature, both in the House and the Senate, has shamelessly labeled the state's dangerous abortion law as a compromise, but let's be clear: There is no compromise when it comes to preventing efforts that trample on reproductive rights.
The new law bans abortions after 12 weeks, and Dem AG Josh Stein hit the nail on the head when he called out exactly what this dangerous move is about — “controlling women and taking away their freedoms.”
