It seems like there’s a lot of haters in our country right now. Haters of books. Haters of wokeness. Haters of critical race theory. Haters of anti-racism. Haters of LGBTQIA. Haters of women’s right to choose. Haters of gun control for the sake of our kids. Hate. Hate. Hate.
Nothing is safe from the haters. Not even Amanda Gorman’s poem about rising above, moving forward, and building a better country for all .

As we mentioned, we are no longer taking part in traditionally pestering for dollars whenever and wherever. Instead we are intentionally asking for your support twice-a-year so that we can create more impactful campaigns that will encourage greater donations and participation from and for our communities.
