What is Being Taught in Elite Law Schools Threatens the Survival of Our Constitutional Order
- Law school courses now commonly reject American norms such as free speech, fact-based decision-making, individualism, and Anglo-American legal principles that created the most benign and beneficial form of government in human history.
- Our system, which is based on a civil and courteous adversarial process, only works with lawyers trained to engage in spirited and vigorous — but peaceful — debate to resolve disputes.
- It’s time for officials in the states to block bar membership to those who seek to tear down and destroy our institutions and our constitutional rights — including free speech. Lawyers must take an oath to defend the Constitution. It’s time the oath meant something.

The Biden Administration’s War Against Gas Stoves is Nothing More Than Taking Away Consumer Choice
- The House Rules Committee is expected to vote on several measures this week, including legislation that would bar the Consumer Product Safety Commission from using federal funds to ban gas stoves and another to stop the Department of Energy from finalizing its efficiency rule.
- Localities across the U.S. are pursuing bans on natural gas appliances under the banner of fighting climate change and meeting the Biden administration’s lofty aspirations of net-zero emissions.
- Instead of limiting options and forcing a transition to electrification, Congress and the Biden administration should pursue policies that respect consumer choice.

The FBI Needs to Be an Independent and Apolitical Entity
- House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer said the committee would move forward with a vote this week to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in criminal contempt of Congress. Wray failed to hand over a document said to detail a $5 million bribery scheme in the panel’s investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings.
- The FBI is supposed to be a truly independent and apolitical entity, yet there is evidence that its leadership clearly chose a partisan side in this matter—covering up Biden family misconduct and defying Congress.
- We need political leaders to get ahead of this moment where these government institutions are no longer neutral agencies and start providing some real legislative fixes.
