One Question Survey:
Should there be interest rates on student loans?
|
Dear team,
We are quickly reaching out to you because the Supreme Court could rule on the student loan forgiveness case any second this month.
In 2022, the average college student in America found themselves at about $37,574 in federal student loan debt.
Since taking office, President Biden has made student loan forgiveness a priority of his administration. But now, any chance of relief for our students hangs in the balance of the Supreme Court — a court with MAGA-influenced appointments and special interests.
No matter how SCOTUS rules on the case this month, we know that student loans will remain an issue.
Why? Because interest rates will continue to accumulate and add to the thousands of dollars in student loan debt of many hard-working Americans.
Look, Eric believes that quality education prepares students for their future in our global economy and communities. But Eric also believes that no one should suffer a lifetime burden of thousands of dollars of debt just to compete in today’s economy.
So we wanted to ask you ourselves, team:
Should there be interest rates on student loans?
Thanks for your input, friend.
