We have some exciting news to share with you! The NCTE Action Fund is
honored to host an event featuring Virginia Del. Danica Roem, who
made history as one of the country's first out-and-seated transgender
state legislators. 
 
Danica aims to make waves again as she runs for the 30th District of
the Virginia State Senate this fall. Her courage, authenticity, and
commitment to public service continue to inspire.

Virginia's State Senate has been crucial to stopping anti-trans
legislation this year. Thanks to the Democratic majority standing up
for trans rights, we've seen those attempts to harm us fall
short again and again. Let's make sure we protect that
majority!

This occasion is one of our final gatherings before the commencement
of the general election. It offers us a unique opportunity to
celebrate Pride Month, rally behind Danica's candidacy, and make
strides toward preserving the Democratic majority in Virginia's state
Senate.
 
We believe in the power of unity and the strength of our voices when
we come together. Let's stand with Danica Roem, support her campaign,
