Our current policies are not providing the deterrence or control necessary to manage illegal border crossings. As a consequence, our national security is in jeopardy, our resources are being strained, and the rule of law is being disregarded.

I have made it my mission in Congress to address this escalating crisis. I have been tirelessly working to promote legislation that would secure our border and curtail illegal immigration.
