This past year, we made some big strides for the LGBTQ+ community. I am proud to have led the way for the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act—my measure to protect marriage equality—in federal law. Even with this great achievement, I know we still have a lot of work to do.

As a Co-Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, I will always stand up for the LGBTQ+ community and am ready to keep up the fight this Pride month and beyond.
