THE UN CLIMATE MEETING IN BONN!
Dear members and supporters,
GGJ is on the ground with our It Takes Roots (ITR) delegation in Bonn,
Germany this week for the INTERSESSIONAL UNFCCC MEETING [3] in the lead up
to the next Conference of Parties (COP) climate change assembly. In Bonn,
country negotiators will advance priorities from COP27 in November 2022 and
set an agenda for COP28 that will be held in the United Arab Emirates this
December. Key topics include the loss and damage fund, carbon markets, Just
Transition, and progress toward emissions reduction goals set in the Paris
Agreement.
We are excited to share our analysis and demands of these discussions. Join
