JOhn, we talk a lot about our extensive planning for 2024 – but today, I'm reaching out to talk to you about what's happening in Virginia this year.
In November, our Commonwealth's State Senate is on the ballot, and control will be decided by just a handful of seats. Virginia is the last southern state without an abortion ban, and this year's election will be instrumental in determining reproductive rights in Virginia (Republicans would love nothing more than to advance an abortion ban through the Senate if they take control).
One of the three most critical districts in the fight for the State Senate is District 31 (which touches Loudoun and Fauquier Counties in Northern Virginia), and I'm proud to support Russet Perry for this seat. Will you split a donation between our campaigns to help her rally voters ahead of the June 20 primary and enter the general election in a strong position?

Over the years, I've seen Russet's determination and tenacity time and time again — whether as a prosecutor seeking justice or as a CIA officer standing up for our democracy.
Loudoun and Fauquier Counties need an advocate in Richmond who goes to bat for them every day, and I can think of no one better to be that voice than Russet.
I trust her to fight for her constituents on the right to choose, commonsense gun safety, strong schools, access to healthcare and so much more. But if Republicans win District 31, they'll be on their way to taking the majority in the State Senate — meaning that abortion bans and more extreme legislation will be sent to Glenn Youngkin's desk.
District 31 came down to less than one percent in 2021's gubernatorial election. It's a truly purple district, and every bit of support Russet can get makes a difference.
