I remain hopeful for our future. To borrow a line from the late Madeleine Albright, I am an optimist who worries a lot. We know we have more work to do, but history reminds us that meaningful progress does not happen overnight.
With your support, we’ve been able to make historic investments in New Jersey like funding the Gateway Tunnel Project, passing the first meaningful gun-safety legislation in 30 years, and lowering prescription drug costs.
To keep moving forward on this important work, Democrats must win back the House. Republicans have shown they are incapable of effectively governing this country -- from failing to coalesce around a Speaker in January, to playing a dangerous game of chicken with the debt ceiling.
So, just as I did five years ago, I am humbly asking for your support to keep fighting for the values we share and move forward on the issues that matter most: lowering costs for families, passing more gun-safety legislation, and protecting choice.
Will you consider making a contribution to help make sure we can run another strong campaign and keep NJ-11 blue?
