I know you get lots of emails asking for help, so I wanted to take a step back and tell you a little about why this race is so important (and why I’m so excited about it).

But first, I have to ask: our race is one of the most competitive in the whole country. Will you chip in $5 today to help our team get off the ground?

This district is one of the best pickup opportunities for Democrats in the entire country in 2024. It’s a true swing seat: President Trump won by 1.5% in 2016 and President Biden won by 4.5% in 2020. In 2022, despite a challenging political environment in New York, Josh earned 49.22%, overperforming the top of the ticket by significant margins. With your help, I know we can finish the job this time.

But you don’t have to take my word for it – NY-19 has already been rated a “toss-up” by Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball. And national Democrats have already named our race one of their top targets to flip. Everyone agrees: the path to taking back the House runs right through this campaign.

So I know you get lots of asks, but this one matters. So much hinges on our race, and the work we do now could be the difference between two more years of MAGA Republicans in power and a Democratic majority that’s able to make real progress – defending our rights, preserving our environment, and strengthening our Democracy.
