Let's make sure low-income BIPOC communities are treated fairly by our housing and financial entities.

Prosperity Now is dedicated to ensuring renters and homeowners, especially low-income and BIPOC families, have safe and stable housing and equitable opportunities to build wealth. You know all too well the ways our housing and financial systems fail to meet fair standards.

Recently, the Federal Housing Finance Agency proposed a rule on Fair Lending, Fair Housing, and Equitable Housing Finance Plans. We are hopeful that this rule, in partnership with other ongoing efforts, will take critical steps to remedy flaws in the existing systems.

In response to the FHFA’s request for comment we've drafted a letter in response to the FHFA proposed rule offering feedback on key questions and providing general comments on the issues at hand. We invite your organization to sign on and show your support!
