GOP rep suggests replacing libraries with "church-owned" alternatives

This is scary, friend. 

First, Texas lawmakers tried to close a library that wouldn't withdraw books from the shelves.

Then, the Missouri GOP wanted to withdraw ALL funding from public libraries that refuse to censor books they don't like. 

Now, a GOP official is recommending replacing libraries with "church-owned" alternatives!!

If we want to protect what's good about our democracy, we need to start by protecting information, friend.
