In this Data Gem, we show you the features of two interactive data visualizations, "How Has Our Nation’s Population Changed?" and "Exploring Age Groups in the 2020 Census."
Follow along to visualize and rank population changes over time (between years 2000, 2010, and 2020), as well as map age characteristics, for the nation, states, and local geographies.
By the end of this Data Gem, you will use population pyramids, maps, and ranking lists to easily explore many statistics such as age-sex distributions for metropolitan areas, how race and ethnicity groups have changed over time, diversity index rankings, and more!
