I wanted to give you a quick update on what I’ve been working on for you and your family in Congress over the last couple of weeks: → Securing infrastructure investments to modernize our rail system in Illinois and ensure accessible, affordable transportation no matter your zip code → Creating reform and accountability for the misuse of funds intended to support our veterans → Sponsoring bipartisan legislation to support biofuels, bolstering our energy production and increasing opportunities for farmers → Supporting a bipartisan debt ceiling deal that prioritizes our seniors and families over political extremes I’m proud to represent you each and every day in Congress, and to work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to create meaningful change for our communities. I’m also working to protect this seat from a Republican opponent in 2024 so I can keep delivering results for working families in central and southern Illinois – but that’s not work I can take on alone.
