Since Groundwork Project was founded in 2021, we’ve made incredible progress throughout our target states.

We’ve committed about $2.5M to nearly 40 organizations working in Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.

Our grantees are fighting year-round to register voters, win major policy change, and build a grassroots movement capable of unwinding decades worth of conservative overreach. Their work does not stop, which means ours cannot either.

But the greatest obstacle we face is a lack of resources.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, and in order to support our grantees for the long-term and continue growing, we need the continued support of folks like you who care about investing in sustainable, hyper-local community organizing.
