Companies have a powerful and essential role to play in advancing equity in America. Yet, currently, there is no unified approach to achieve and measure meaningful corporate action.

That's why PolicyLink, FSG, and JUST Capital, as part of the Corporate Racial Equity Alliance, are developing corporate standards on racial and economic equity. Informed by the expertise and wisdom of people of color and those experiencing economic insecurity, our standards will provide trusted, clear guidance to ensure equity commitments are substantiated by equitable action.

Over the past two years, we have conducted robust research, hosted two public comment periods, and published our standards development approach and methodology. Stakeholder engagement is essential to impactful standards, and there will be many opportunities for all stakeholders to continue to inform our work, including through our next public comment period in early 2024. Stay tuned for a more complete standards development update in just a few weeks.

Now we are thrilled to have arrived at another exciting milestone: we are inviting companies to participate in a pilot and be amongst the first to engage in new corporate standards tackling inequality.

Piloting companies will receive early access and individualized support from the CRE Alliance as they test the draft standards. Piloting companies will also be able to provide input to help shape the standards for the broader field.

We are looking for companies to consider participating in a 6-week pilot this summer, and/or a 6-month pilot in early 2024, and to join us in achieving a just and equitable future for all. We believe that these standards can create lasting change within companies, communities, and across society.

If your company is interested in piloting the standards or you know a company with a strong track record on racial equity and would be a good fit for this opportunity, please reach out to us at [email protected]. You can also learn more by joining an info session below:
