Happy Pride, john!

53 years ago this month, the first Pride march was held, commemorating the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.

Since then, June has been recognized as a month to honor and celebrate the contributions and achievements of our LGBTQ+ communities. While our nation has come a long way since 1969, it's clear we still have a long way to go.

So far this year, right-wing legislators across the country have introduced 491 discriminatory anti-LGBTQ bills. We need to end the discrimination and unnecessary suffering for those in the LGBTQ+ communities.

We're not equal until everyone is equal. Because no matter who you love or how you identify, everyone deserves the same rights and protections.

That's why Kim has fought to pass the Equality Act, which would explicitly outlaw any discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity nationwide.

So this Pride Month, john, join Kim by taking the pledge to fight for equality. Together, we can pass legislation like the Equality Act to end anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination.
