Save the Date! Dallas Healthy Teen Conference Healthy Futures of Texas is proud to host the 2023 Dallas Healthy Teen Conference on June 23rd. We aim to serve 150-175 Dallas area middle and high school students
through youth-serving community organizations. The event is FREE for participants, and we are providing snacks, lunch, and door prizes. The event's focus is teen health, and we will be offering sessions on consent, teen dating violence, healthy relationships, STIs, puberty/anatomy, sexuality and identity, and more. Mental and reproductive health resources will be tabled at the event. Healthy Futures of Texas will also provide an Askable Adults training for counselors and adults chaperoning the youth at the event. Scan the QR codes in the flyer. Last day to register is June 11th!
Calling Texas School-based Clinics The Texas Youth-Friendly Initiative (TYFI) is recruiting a 5th cohort of clinics to begin the18-month Adolescent Champion Model (ACM) intervention this fall. Participating clinics receive professional development training for staff, exclusive access to
resources, stipends for improvements to the adolescent-friendliness of their clinical environments, and the opportunity to become certified as adolescent-centered environments. Complete the TYFI interest form if you meet the following criteria: - Adolescent-serving clinical setting
- Located in this 57-county area
- Leadership and staff want to better serve adolescents
