Alternate Election results
Reading Group and Canvassing
Comrades and Friends,

Congratulations to Todd RĀ for being elected as the chapter's Alternate delegate to the 2023 convention! We look forward to our chapter having a strong voice in Chicago this summer, while also learning from our comrades around the country. We thank all candidates forĀ for running, and hope future elections in the chapter can see similar levels of participation and interest.

Santa Fe DSA is working to expand our political organizing, with our recent endorsements of two democratic socialists running for city council, Alma Castro and Miguel Acosta, and the chapter voting earlier this year on the Green New Deal and Housing For All as priorities. If you would like to get more involved in any of the chapter's campaigns, or internal organizing work, fill out this form to volunteer. We have also updated our chapter website with a new design, at dsasantafe.org. If you have any feedback for the site layout, or encounter any bugs, please let us know.

Ā
As usual, we will be having our reading group this Saturday, 10 AM at Larragoite Park. We will be finishing up "The State and Revolution" by Vladimir Lenin, reading to the end of Chapter 6.

Afterwards, the Alma Castro campaign will be running a canvass to collect donations and signatures needed to qualify for public matching funds. If you would like to join in this, head over to Cafe Castro (2811 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507) at noon, Saturday.Ā Ā

In solidarity,
Nikhil,
Santa Fe DSA Secretary
