The regular legislative session ends at midnight!

Hi Friend, 

Today is day 120, the final day of the regular legislative session of 2023. Here’s some of what to look out for as the day progresses. 

Before we go into what is left, here is how to help with any of the bills we outline below OR any other bill you care about!

  • Create a free NELIS Account & submit a comment
  • Use the 'Find My Legislator' tool to find who represents your address, then click on your State Senator's name to find their contact information - send an email or call their office to voice your opinion!

Here’s some of what we need the Senate to pass:

AB28 - SUPPORT: Establishes the Nevada Baby Bonds Program. (BDR 18-356)

AB84 - SUPPORT: Provides for the issuance of free annual permits to certain persons for entering state parks and recreational areas. (BDR 35-471)

AB128 - SUPPORT: Makes an appropriation to the Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program Account for the costs of the program. (BDR S-778)

AB286 - SUPPORT: Makes various changes relating to elections. Sets up in-jail voting procedures for people who have not been convicted yet. (BDR 24-530)

SB341 - SUPPORT: Makes appropriations to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and Three Square for the purpose of purchasing food for persons who are served by such organizations. (BDR S-502)

SB419 - SUPPORT: The HOPE Act 

Here’s some of what we need the Assembly to pass:

SB162 - SUPPORT: Makes various changes relating to elections. Sets up in-jail voting procedures for people who have not been convicted yet. (BDR 24-530)

SB450 - SUPPORT: Establishes a program for the relocation of persons residing in the Windsor Park neighborhood of the City of North Las Vegas. (BDR S-794)

SB474 - SUPPORT: Makes an appropriation to the Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program Account. (BDR S-1174)
