Did the CNN panel watch the same town hall as the rest of America last night?
I spent an hour and a half talking directly with the American people and sharing the truth about our country and my plan to save it.
As soon as the town hall ended, right on cue, CNN’s liberal panel ignored what I said in order to share their planned talking points attacking me.

Before I even took the stage, Democratic mouthpiece, Bakari Sellers, was armed with liberal talking points. First, he accused me of not having any real policy stances…
…I’m guessing he didn’t read the policies I’ve put out on spending, reforming Washington, veterans care, securing the border, immigration, abortion, foreign aid, Ukraine, China, and education?
Then, after the town hall was over, he called me a white governor!
John, I’m the proud daughter of Indian immigrants who came to America legally. I was the first minority and first female governor of South Carolina! It’s clear: The liberal media isn’t interested in having policy discussions. If you don’t embrace their radical, identity-driven politics, then they dismiss everything you say.
We need to move beyond the stale policies AND politics of the past.
I’m running for president because we have a country to save. My parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m doing this as a military spouse because I want my husband and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice meant something – that we do love this country. I’m doing this for my daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to own a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s in college and writing papers he doesn’t believe in just to get an A. That’s not us. That’s not America.
78% of Americans have said they don’t think that their children will live as good of a life as them. We can’t have that. I’m not going to have that.
We’ve got a country to save! That’s why we need a new generation of leadership. We’ve got to go fix this country and go back to the values that made us great.
And when we do that – when we really focus back on faith, family, and country, and the idea that America is the best country in the world, that’s when our best days are to come.
