In recent years, Mississippi has experienced a transition from Democrat Party-control to Republican Party-controlled government.
At first, we saw tremendous progress as our elected Republican leaders worked diligently to change the course of our state. However, over time, we have witnessed a slow departure from our Republican principles and a return to failed policies that held us back educationally and economically.
The formation of the Mississippi Freedom Caucus was a response to this concerning trend. They recognized the urgent need to halt the slide back into the failed policies of the past and reignite our journey towards a prosperous future built on freedom and economic growth.
