In February, my friend of over 40 years, Tim Kaine, launched his Senate re-election bid, and I still couldn’t be more excited. One of the best parts of my job has been working alongside Tim to deliver for Virginia. This photo is from the day he announced his re-election – we went out to celebrate and talk about our goals for the Commonwealth that we can accomplish together when he’s back in the Senate in 2024.

But here’s the thing: Polls are showing that Virginia could be one of the most competitive battlegrounds in the country next year. Take a look for yourself – DeSantis is currently tied with Biden.

With a chance that VA will turn red in the presidential race, it’s more clear than ever that we can’t afford to lose Tim’s seat – and we have to start preparing for this fight now. Not only is Tim an incredible public servant, but he’s the most relentlessly optimistic person I know.
