While Jack Bergman treats Congress like a retirement hobby, families in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula are struggling to get by.

Callie Barr has announced she’s running for Congress because we deserve a representative FROM Michigan who has lived our experiences.

When Callie’s husband Matt came back from war with a brain injury, she had to juggle being a caretaker, mom of two, and breadwinner. As she stretched a household budget in a breaking economy, she kept finding that “resources” for veterans weren’t actually accessible to many. So she stepped up as an advocate for military families, and now, as a candidate for Congress.

But this campaign is about so much more than Callie’s story — it’s about all of our stories. To fight for Michigan in Congress, she needs to know what keeps you up at night. John, will you take 3 minutes to fill out Callie’s Launch Survey and share what issues you want to see her focus on in Congress?

Whether it’s the rising costs of housing, access to good paying jobs, healthcare, child care, unreliable broadband internet service, or access to job training and the skilled trades, we want to hear what you think needs fixing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with Callie!
