For most CEOs, Pride Month couldn't have come at a more inopportune time. As companies like Target, Bud Light, and others desperately try to control the flames burning down their brands, this annual test of LGBT loyalty is putting most businesses in a position they'd rather not be in: outraging an already agitated consumer base or ticking off the lobby they've worked two decades to appease. House Republicans have threatened to initiate contempt proceedings against FBI Director Christopher Wray over his defiance of a House Oversight Committee subpoena, which demands an unclassified document it suspects will expose Joe Biden's complicity in his family influence-peddling scheme. Wray reportedly agreed to turn over the document on Friday. At the same time that it has seemingly stonewalled Congress to protect Democrats, the Department of Justice (DOJ) - of which the FBI is a part - is unashamedly pursuing other legal battles that are widely perceived as partisan. |

A pro-life Republican state representative lost his leadership position for saying that abortion is the fruit of the "Church of Satan." North Carolina State Representative Keith Kidwell (R-Beaufort) responded to a Democratic representative who tried to justify her decision to have an elective abortion by citing her church membership and belief in the "power of God." |
