June 2023 CPL Report
Michigan added 6,389 net total CPL holders in May, the largest monthly increase since June 2021. MCRGO instructors also certified more students during the month of May 2023 than in any month since May 2021. With the pause in gun control legislation in Lansing since mid-April, this demand is primarily being fueled by a national increase in violent crime including highly publicized mass shooting events. This month's full report from the Michigan State Police can be read HERE.
