Join us for Alcohol Awareness Week
This year’s Alcohol Awareness Week takes place from 3-9 July on the theme of ‘Alcohol and cost’.
The theme provides an important opportunity to highlight the true cost of alcohol to us all in the form of health problems, financial worries, relationship breakdown and family difficulties, as well as the wider societal issues.
Alcohol Change UK is sharing free digital resources (such as factsheets, posters, and social media images and more) to help you get involved or run a campaign. These are available now to all those who sign up to our Alcohol Awareness Week mailing list.
We would love all of our partners across the UK to join us for this year’s campaign and there are many ways for you to do so.
Here are six key actions you can take:

Tweet with just two clicks to let everyone know you’re taking part!

Use our images and social media posts to join in with the campaign on social media from 3-9 July 2023.

Share your stories, events and activities on social media throughout the week using the hashtag #AlcoholAwarenessWeek and tagging @AlcoholChangeUK.

Run an event using our free digital resources, whether in person or remotely. There are lots of ideas in our community pack.
