Voting to Return Fiscal Sanity to Washington

This week, House Republicans put the brakes on Washington’s spending habit. While there is more work to do, we have cut spending, reined in President Biden’s expansive bureaucracy, and put Americans back to work.

Despite a liberal President in the White House and a Democrat-controlled Senate, The Fiscal Responsibility Act will cut spending year-over-year, implement permitting reform that will put us back on track to achieve energy independence, and enact work requirements on social safety net programs to bolster our workforce and save taxpayer money. Click here or on the image below to read more.

Traveling the Tenth District  

This week, I stopped by Feed NC to see their fantastic new facility. Feed NC is doing tremendous work, providing food, education, and resources for our neighbors in need. Their new home allows them to serve more people and expand their programs.

Thank you to Executive Director, Lara Ingram, for taking time to give me a tour. I am grateful for your leadership in our community.

Later, I had the pleasure of speaking with a group of students from the Fearless Leaders in Christ Homeschool Cooperative. We discussed the roles we all play in our system of government and I fielded great questions from these students. Thanks to the parents and children for giving me the opportunity to provide insight on our federal government.

Congratulations to the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse team on being crowned National Champions after a dominating victory over Mercyhurst. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the student-athletes, coaches, and Lenoir-Rhyne University.

It was great to hear exciting news out of Lincoln County this week, as Bosch is investing an additional $130 million and adding 400 new jobs in Lincolnton. Bosch has made considerable investment in Lincoln County and I am grateful for their commitment to our community.
