The “summer slump” is a phenomenon that we see in politics every single summer when fundraising slows way down. Schools are out, families travel, folks spend more time outside and less time online. That means fewer people see these emails and our fundraising dries up.

It makes sense! But the issue is, there is no summer slump on the other side. When Republicans see a dip in fundraising, they can just cozy up to their shady super PAC friends and ask for huge checks to make up the difference.
