This week, Trump is set to release a $4.8 trillion budget that would cut critical safety net programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, children's health insurance, food stamps, education, housing, and environmental protection -- all while keeping tax breaks for the wealthiest.

This isn't the first time Trump has proposed giveaways to the top one percent -- and we've fought back before. Together, we've battled attacks on affordable health care, defended life-saving programs like SNAP and Social Security, and are still pressuring gun-lobby-funded politicians to take action on any number of the gun violence prevention bills.
