This year is the 2020 Census.

Did you know that THOUSANDS of people don’t know what the Census is? Every ten years hundreds of thousands of people go without getting counted in the Census. This may be because of a lack of time, lack of education about the Census, or fear among our communities. Who knows? 🤷🏽‍♀️But it is very important that everyone gets counted. IMPORTANT 🚨

At UWD, we are organizing and getting ready to get everyone in our communities counted. Which is why we need you!

Will you commit to volunteer with us to help get out the count this year?

The information obtained from the census really matters because that’s how money gets allocated for infrastructure, hospitals, schools, food access 😋and political representation. If we all get counted, then our communities can thrive.

There are many ways that you can volunteer with us. We are looking for people who can make phone calls, send text messages, canvass, organize events at your school or at your church.
