Thursday, June 8 at 7:00 pm ET (4:00 PM PT) for our Democracy Story
Activist Training to learn how you can use your democracy story as an
important advocacy tool. I’ll be cohosting the activist call and we’ll be
joined by special guest Representative Jasmine Crockett and feature a
message from Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King!

Everyone has a democracy story: from our experiences registering to vote
and voting, to politicians dividing our communities into gerrymandered
districts, or big money donors blocking progress on issues we care about
in our legislatures. We also have stories of times we have come together
and demanded more of our legislatures and won! Every story is valuable.

Sharing your story is a powerful way to humanize an issue and change
hearts and minds. We will train activists on best practices in telling
your story and provide space for you to workshop your story and share it!

In addition to amplifying your story through your own network, it can be a
part of the broader movement to help advocate for comprehensive,
transformational legislation.
