Thank you so much to everyone who showed their support for my re-election campaign during our end-of-May push. Every time I come to this team with what we’re working on - and why I need your support - I’m humbled and honored by how many of you step up and give what you can.
The tough update I have to share today is that we didn’t reach our May email fundraising goal. When we closed the books for the month, we fell a little short.
That doesn’t mean the world is ending - but it does mean that for the month of June, I need to spend more time focusing on getting our campaign budget back on track.
Especially since at the end of this month, we’ll file our next official report with the Federal Election Commission - and our donations and expenditures will become public to everyone from the press to my opponent.
If you didn’t have a chance to donate before the end of May, please consider making a donation now to start June off strong and help get our budget closer to where it needs to be. [[link removed]]
I’ll continue to share my usual personal and legislative updates with this group throughout the month - but thanks in advance for sticking with me while we work hard on this fundraising effort, too. We can’t do any of the other important stuff if I lose my election next year!
