Yesterday The NY Times Asked To Interview Me About The 4 Year Old's Death - Here Is My Response:

Using the tragic death of a child to push the relentless and ongoing narrative that the Stop Mandatory Vaccination Facebook Group and similar vaccine skeptic Groups and Pages must be shuttered by Facebook is morally reprehensible, disgraceful and shameful. Every parent is a responsible parent when that parent questions a medical procedure or drug that has listed as side-effects the potential for seizures, hallucinations, insomnia, vomiting, DEATH, etc. while seeking out other potential options that are LESS LETHAL and effective to alleviate or treat a health condition. Parents may seek answers online or offline, from other medical professionals, parents or strangers, and then decide the best course of action for their child. As for the child in question, is there absolute proof anywhere that had the child received Tamiflu that the child would be alive today, because right now, all I can find is that the makers of Tamiflu are being sued for fraud for bolstered claims of efficacy and hiding the true extent of the side-effects that that drug causes. NBC News and the rest of mainstream media should clean up their act and start asking why parents are rejecting drugs and vaccines known to cause permanent damage and death in children.

You know, you could help change the narrative Mariel. She has two sentences in there that are pretty significant:

1) 4 year old had febrile seizures at only temp of 102,
2) She did not pick up Tamiflu and THEN came into my group asking for advice (e.g., the group did NOT convince her to avoid Tamiflu), and
3) Most importantly, Tamiflu has a listed side effect of seizures.

So, why would any parent follow such bad medical advice and give a seizure causing drug to a child already prone to getting seizures?

Shift the narrative Mariel. The family has grieved enough and the death threats are no fun either - for me or them.

Ultimately, the NY Times decided not to run their story because they could not verify that the NBC News story is absolutely correct about the identity of the mother and that she posted in Stop Mandatory Vaccination (so they told me).
