John, as the
Republican presidential primary heats up, so has the mainstream media’s
coverage of the candidates — especially Donald Trump.
Trump hasn’t changed at all since his last campaign. At his recent CNN
town hall, he was a firehose of disinformation, spreading lies about voter
fraud, the January 6th insurrection, the 2020 election results, and more.
CNN has faced serious backlash for airing the event. Many are angry with
the network’s decision to give Trump a primetime slot to push his lies and
divisive agenda. Some even fear a repeat of 2016 where networks like CNN
prominently featured Trump and let him lie because he delivered big
ratings.
So what do you think? Should CNN continue to host events with Donald Trump
or should they hold him accountable for spreading dangerous lies and
disinformation on their airwaves? [ [link removed] ]Take our quick, 1-click poll:

In 2016, it was mainstream media networks like CNN that helped legitimize
Trump and his candidacy by giving him sensational, wall-to-wall coverage
to drive ratings and profits — all while Trump berated them as ‘fake
news.’
Right now, we’re concerned they’re falling into the same trap but we want
to get a sense of what our supporters think and — depending on the
responses we get — what you think our next steps should be.
