Yesterday, we asked our community to take just a few minutes to call, email, and/or tweet the U.S. Department of Justice(DOJ), urging Attorney General Garland to end the DOJ's Trump era legacy of seeking to delay the case by filing extreme Petitions for Writ of Mandamus. And many of you have already stepped up, across the country and around the world to do so. Thank you for letting Attorney General Garland know that the eyes of the world - and history - are watching!
We must keep the pressure on! Attorney General Garland must sign off personally on any further delay of the Juliana case.
If you haven’t already contacted Attorney General Garland to urge him to “Let the Youth Be Heard,” please call, email, and/or tweet today.
Please also help us spread the word on this urgent call to action by asking friends, family, neighbors - everyone you know! - to keep the pressure on. This is an all-hands-on-deck moment in the fight for climate justice - please help us get the word out today!
With just a few minutes of your time, we can collectively let Attorney General Garland know that the time for climate justice in America is NOW!
Tell Attorney General Garland today to NOT file a record seventh Petition for Writ of Mandamus in this youth-led case.
Tell him to end U.S. Department of Justice opposition to Juliana v. U.S. proceeding to trial.
Tell him to stop trying to keep the evidence these 21 young Americans are prepared to present on the unconstitutionality of the U.S. fossil fuel energy system from being heard in open court.
The U.S. government needs to be told by the court that its fossil fuel energy policy and practices are unconstitutional and harming our young people. Only that order will turn the climate crisis around in time and bind every future politician and administration who serves our nation.
Thank you for your efforts to stop further justice delay. Together, we’ll get justice done!

P.S. Don’t forget to join us Monday afternoon for an online community call to talk about trial in Held v. State of Montana, now just a little over ONE WEEK away! We’ll also talk about this huge development in the Juliana case so be sure to join us then!
