Before you step into the weekend, I wanted to share some good news about something you supported.

Here at Independent Women’s Voice, we are focused on creating impact and influencing policy solutions.

During the last year, the Biden administration proposed changes to Title IX to impose a radical agenda on every aspect of the educational experience. While the administration seeks to weaponize Title IX to punish speech, erase women’s equal opportunities in sports, and so much more, the women (and men!) from Independent Women’s Voice's community have been working to stop them.

You helped IWV drive over 7,000 comments to oppose the first wave of Title IX changes, and last month we mobilized the public to submit an additional 15,200 more to STOP the rules from advancing and to take back Title IX.

Biden’s Department of Education was expected to release the final Title IX rules by the end of May. On Friday, May 26th, the administration announced a DELAY due to the OVERWHELMING number of comments and the need to review them in detail and consider them before they are ready to present their final rules. The final rules are pushed back to October 2023.

This is a huge WIN. Delaying and stopping bad policies that limit freedom and equal opportunity is exactly why we exist and are powered by people like you,

Now we have MORE time to make MORE noise and have MORE impact to take back TITLE IX to save our schools and save our sports once and for all.
