Did you watch the "Succession" finale, Friend? Connie and I watched the final episode the other night, and I think it's time I share my thoughts on the Roy family. I promise not to reveal any spoilers (🤫)...

In truth, there are far too many people like the Roys out there who use their wealth and power to lobby for weaker rules and push the Wall Street business model at the expense of workers and families.

Kendall, Shiv, and Roman might make for entertaining TV, but they highlight some of the biggest issues we’re facing:

No matter how appalling their behavior, the Roy family – like the actual wealthiest Americans – never face consequences for their actions. They've got lawyers, accountants, right-wing politicians, and lobbyists in their pockets, helping them get out of trouble every. Damn. Time.

As I look at our country today, I'm sick and tired of watching people like the Roys profit at the expense of workers and families. We're seeing the wealthiest few get richer and richer. We're seeing profits go up, stock prices go up, executive salaries and bonuses go up – all while workers' wages stay stagnant.

That's why I'm fighting every day to make our country a better, fairer place – but I need your help. I'm facing my toughest reelection yet, and experts say I'm one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot. Plus, this race could decide Senate control.

So please, friend, will you chip in now to help me hold the real-life Roys of the world accountable? Every grassroots dollar fuels our fight to win in Ohio, defend the Senate, and continue making our government work for ordinary people.
