This month and every month, Emerge stands with our bold LGBTQ+ candidates stepping up to run for office and win crucial races at every level of our government. 

By living authentically and speaking out for some of our most marginalized communities, our Emerge LGBTQ+ alums are transforming politics to protect our fundamental rights and advance the fight for real equality for all. 

We stand with Emerge alums like Del. Danica Roem (Emerge VA) and Rep. Brianna Titone (Emerge CO), two of the first out transgender legislators in the country, and Rep. Keturah Herron (Emerge KY), Kentucky's first LGBTQ+ state representative. Right now, these individuals are fighting back against the GOP's attacks on LGBTQ+ communities – and the dangerous legislation that restricts crucial services they need to thrive. 

But Republican lawmakers have introduced more than 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills this year, and we urgently need MORE Emerge alums running for office to fight this hateful agenda in every state. We need your help to expand our recruitment and training programs and empower more Democratic LGBTQ+ candidates to run for office and WIN.
