I know you’ve heard a lot from my team the past few days, but this is urgent: this week, former Vice President Mike Pence came to Grand Rapids for an event with Betsy DeVos.

We know that Republicans will not let us keep this seat without a fight. They are investing time and money into this district because the path to the House majority runs through West Michigan. 
But together, I know we can keep this seat BLUE and stop their attempts to take back our district.

Our district doesn’t just determine who takes the House majority. With the presidential election and a crucial Senate seat up for grabs, all eyes will be on Michigan heading into next year. Despite Democratic success in 2022, experts say Michigan is ripe to turn red again in 2024.

In our district, we can make a difference by turning out every voter up and down the ticket. But with Mike Pence and national Republicans focusing on retaking this seat, it will take serious resources.
