Rush a rapid-response donation to support service members in Guam and around the world at this critical moment.*

I’m reaching out with the latest news from the ground in Guam, where the National Guard, the Coast Guard, the Air Force and the Navy are responding to last week’s devastating Super Typhoon Mawar. As the damage is assessed, the U.S. military has sprung into action to help the recovery effort, and the USO is right there alongside these brave responders.

At Andersen Air Force Base, where the storm made initial landfall, service members prioritized clearing and reopening the airfield to ensure that humanitarian relief could reach the island. On Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard reopened the main port in Guam, another critical entry point for emergency aid.

As our military selflessly serves Americans through thick and thin, the USO relies on patriotic military supporters like you to ensure we can go wherever they do and provide much-needed resources and comfort. In moments of emergency, your support is more important than ever, so please, will you rush $29 or more to help reach our $50,000 rapid-response goal before midnight tonight?

Unfortunately, much of the island remains without power or safe drinking water as safety assessments continue. It’s clear that military personnel and their families stationed in Guam are facing a long and difficult recovery. While restoring power and water to people’s homes is the top priority, we are working to reopen all three USO centers on the island as quickly as possible to give service members a place to relax and unwind and access critical resources during this difficult time.

But we’re counting on military supporters like you to step up for our service members at this crucial moment: Please, rush a rapid-response donation immediately to stand with service members around the world as they respond to emergencies like Typhoon Mawar and sacrifice so much to bravely serve our country.

Thank you for being a patriotic military supporter service members can count on during their toughest moments.
