On Thursday the Senate voted to raise the debt ceiling staving off a potential default.

Despite making a huge uproar over the debt ceiling in recent weeks, when the bill was being voted on in the US House Lauren Boebert was nowhere to be found.

Where was she? What could she have been doing that was more important than showing up for the vote?

Congresswoman Boebert’s ability to manage her own life – let alone the affairs of a nation – is constantly called into question. Just last week it was unearthed that one of Boebert’s sons made a call to 9/11 claiming that the Congresswoman’s husband, Jayson Boebert, “Was throwing [him] around” and “calling [him] a psycho”. In the second call to 911 her son, still crying, walked back his statements before the Congresswoman took the phone away in order to further discredit her son’s original statement.

While she takes time from work to cover for her deranged and dangerous husband, she still has a job, working for the people of Colorado. It is clear that Boebert needs to put her family first and stop misrepresenting her district. The voters of CO-03 deserve better.
