*Governor Parson Announces Eleven Appointments to Various Boards and Commissions*
*(Jefferson City, MO) *? Today, Governor Mike Parson announced eleven appointments to various Boards and Commissions.?
*Robert Cirtin,* of Nixa, was appointed to the *Board of Private Investigator and Private Fire Investigator Examiners. *
Mr. Cirtin currently serves as President and Owner of Robert Cirtin Investigations LLC. He previously served as a Professor and Director of the Criminal Justice Program at Evangel University and as Presiding Commissioner of Greene County. He has been a licensed Private Investigator in Missouri since 2010 and has owned a licensed private Investigator agency since 2014.? He holds a Master of Arts in criminal justice and sociology from Lincoln University.
*Dr. Deiter Duff*, of Ozark, was appointed to the *Coroner Standards and Training Commission.*
Dr. Duff currently serves as the Greene County Medical Examiner and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He previously served as Medical Examiner for Boone and Callaway counties and as Assistant Medical Examiner for St. Louis City. He is certified in Anatomic and Forensic pathology. Dr. Duff holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in classics from the University of Missouri?Columbia.
*Gregory Eldridge*, of Kansas City, was appointed to the *Elevator Safety Board*.
Mr. Eldridge currently serves as the Construction Code Inspector Supervisor, overseeing elevator inspections for the City of Kansas City. He previously served as the Senior Construction Codes Inspector for Kansas City. He is an ICC certified Combination Residential Inspector and a National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities certified Elevator Inspector. Mr. Eldridge has been a Missouri Licensed Elevator Inspector since 2016.?
*Chad Hartman*, of Versailles, was appointed to the *Missouri?**911 Service Board. *
Chief Hartman has served as the Chief of Police for the City of Versailles since 2013. He previously served as a Patrol Supervisor for the Versailles Police Department and as a Dispatcher for Morgan County 9-1-1. He serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Missouri Police Chiefs Association and as Vice Chairman of the Lake of the Ozarks Major Case Squad. Mr. Hartman is a member of the Morgan County A&M and the Versailles Lions Club.
*Carole Iles*, of Ashland, was appointed to the?*Administrative Hearing Commission.*
Ms. Iles has previously served as Of Counsel to the law firms Akerman LLP and Bryan, Cave, Leighton, Paisner LLP. She has served as General Counsel for the Missouri Department of Revenue, as an Assistant Missouri Attorney General, and as a law clerk to Judge Charles Blackmar of the Missouri Supreme Court. She served two terms as Chair of the Missouri Bar Taxation Law Committee and is a current member of the Boone County Bar Association. Ms. Iles earned a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs from The George Washington University and received a Juris Doctor"?"from the University of Missouri?Columbia, where she was a member of the Missouri Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif.
*Craig Jones*, of Brighton, was appointed to the *Elevator Safety Board*.
Mr. Jones is Owner and Senior CET-S Mechanic at Country Home Elevator in Brighton. He previously served as a mechanic and sales associate at ThyssenKrupp Access. He was a Founding Board Member of ABC Elevator Contractors Council, a Committee Member for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and a Board Member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors. Mr. Jones studied Electrical Design Drafting at ITT Technical school of Kansas City and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Baker School of Professional and Graduate Studies.?
*Sarah Newell*, of Bolivar, was appointed to the *Missouri?**911 Service Board*.
Ms. Newell has served as the Executive Director of the Polk County Central Dispatch since 2010. She previously served as the Assistant Director of the Polk County Dispatch. She is a Certified Course Instructor through the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch. Ms. Newell served as the Region 3 Representative to the Missouri 9-1-1 Director Association for three years and was named the 2007 Dispatcher of the Year, 2013 Hero of the Year, and 2021 Director of the Year for the State of Missouri by the Association.?
*Mike Phillips*, of Cassville, was appointed to the *Missouri*?*911 Service Board*.
Mr. Phillips has served as the Executive Director of the Barry County 9-1-1 since 2007 and as the North Ward Alderman for the City of Cassville since 2022. He previously served as a Dispatcher for Benton County 9-1-1. He is a member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials and serves as Vice-Chair for the local Emergency Planning Committee. Mr. Phillips served as President of the Numbering Emergency National Association from 2018-2022.
*Gregory Sacks*, of Fenton, was appointed to the *Elevator Safety Board.*
Mr. Sacks has served as President of Superior Elevator Inspections LLC., since 2004. He is a member of the International Association of Elevator Consultants and the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International. He is certified as a qualified Elevator Inspector, qualified Elevator Inspection Supervisor, and a qualified Elevator Consultant. Mr. Sacks holds state elevator inspection licenses in Missouri, Illinois, and Texas.
*Brittney Southworth*, of Farmington, was appointed to the *Missouri Commission on Human Rights. ?*
Ms. Southworth currently serves as a Registered Nurse at BJC-Parkland Health Center in Farmington, working as a House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, and in the acute and critical care departments. She previously served as a Practice Administrator for the Hospitalist Program at Parkland Health Center and a Precepting Nurse for Mineral Area College?s nursing?program. Prior to this, she served as a Staff Registered Nurse at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She has held a Missouri Nursing License since 2017. Ms. Southworth holds a Bachelor of Science in both Nursing and psychology from Southeast Missouri State University.?
*J.R. Webb*, of Rogersville, was appointed to the *Missouri?**911 Service Board*.
Mr. Webb has served as the Assistant Director of Communications for the City of Springfield since 2002. He is a member of? the Missouri Chapter of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, the Missouri State Interoperable Communications Executive Committee, and the National Emergency Number Association. He has also served on several miscellaneous committees under the 911 Service Board to evaluate project proposals. He holds an Associate of Arts from Drury University.?
