Mayor Joe just announced a new gun safety plan
Last week, Mayor Joe announced a new public safety plan for Indianapolis, focused on reducing gun violence. Here are some of the highlights:

Banning the sale of AR-15s and military-grade firearms
- Raising the minimum age to purchase a gun from 18 to 21
- Ending permitless carry laws in Indianapolis
- Investing $20 million for the city's mental health and violence prevention services
