The Daily Kos Recommend email we sent earlier today included a link to a story titled "AI-drone operator frags its commanding officer in simulation." Col. Tucker “Cinco” Hamilton, the Air Force official the story is based on, subsequently issued a statement saying he “misspoke” about the results of the AI simulator test and that it was a “thought experiment.” The Air Force has denied running any such simulations. We have removed the story from the email based on updated information.
