Folks, I have exciting news:
Groundwork Project has two new grantees in Massachusetts! 🥳
Before I highlight our two new grantees, I want to make sure you know that expanding our grantee program wouldn’t be possible without the support of this grassroots team. So if you can, please consider pitching in today to fuel our work:
Now, onto our new grantees!
Brockton Workers Alliance is a group dedicated to educating, supporting, organizing, and empowering immigrant workers that confront workplace abuses and exploitation. They’re leading the fight for workers’ rights through the development of better local, state, and national policies.
Lowell Votes is a nonpartisan, multilingual grassroots coalition working to ensure our government is representative, responsive, transparent, and accountable to the people and the community it serves. Through advocacy, education, and engagement, Lowell Votes works to lower barriers to civic participation and voting for all Lowell residents, particularly those who have been historically underrepresented.
As always, Groundwork Project invests in trusted messengers throughout local communities because we know that it’s the most effective way to make long-term, progressive change.
I can’t wait to follow along with our two new grantees as they continue to make an impact in their communities and contribute toward the national fights for workplace equity and civic engagement.
If you haven’t already, pitch in today to support our year-round organizing efforts. Every dollar goes a long way toward helping Groundwork Project reach even more communities across the country:
