MCB leaders engage in events nationwide: advocacy at Cambridge Union, Refugee Commission, Oxford Research Centre and more
The leadership team from the (MCB have been active this past month, advocating for justice, peace, and community support in a series of nationwide engagements.

From the Cambridge Union Debate ([link removed]) , a Turkish Ambassador reception, and a poignant Nakba commemoration ([link removed]) , to attending Islamic Relief's Parliamentary Eid Reception ([link removed]) and the Yorkshire Cricket Club's Eid Milan celebration ([link removed]) .

Additionally, they contributed to discussions at the Commission on the Integration of Refugees and the Oxford University Centre for Research Equity launch ([link removed]) . MCB Secretary-General Zara Mohammed also appeared on the My Duvet Flip podcast ([link removed]) to provide insights and advice to young people

MCB recently participated in the inaugural event of Oxford University's Centre for Research Equity.

Assistant Secretary General Br Maswood Ahmed, and National Council member, Dr. Wajid Akhter, represented the MCB, with Dr. Akhter offering a heartfelt testimonial on the occasion. This highlights MCB's commitment to fostering academic and societal equity.
