As national campaign co-chair of Bernie Sanders’ Presidential campaign,
I’ve spent a good amount of time in New Hampshire. Let me share with you
some of the things I’ve learned.

People are disillusioned with our government, not our fellow Americans.
People feel like they’ve been denied the opportunity to succeed, that the
programs that once formed a foundation of American economic prosperity
have been gutted, and that the systems of power have left them
disenfranchised.

Bernie Sanders centers that struggle. He’s fighting for an economy that
works for everyone — for folks in New Hampshire, in California, in Iowa,
everywhere. This movement, our movement, stands for a democracy that puts
power in the hands of working people, not massive corporations or special
interests.

Bernie represents hope for a new way of doing things. He’s working to
build a nation that embraces social, racial, environmental, and economic
justice for all. That’s the kind of inspiration that can not only defeat
Trump in 2020, but help elect a wave of down-ballot Democrats to win
progressive change on every level of government.
